Private airport visit · London Gatwick

The next car park is already there.

Airport parking demand grows. Airport land doesn't.

18 Nov 2026

10:00 to 15:00

Meet at Hilton London Gatwick

Operation preview filmed at Lyon Airport

Live. Not lab.

This is not a robotics demonstration on a stand. It is a live airport operation.

At Gatwick, you will see

  • The passenger drop-off journey
  • Passengers keeping their keys
  • STAN lifting and moving vehicles
  • The live robotic parking environment
  • How the operation is supervised
  • The operational questions behind running the service day to day

Airports grow. Land doesn't.

When parking demand grows, the traditional answers are familiar: more land, more infrastructure, or more people moving cars.

But airport land is finite. And what serves parking today may be needed for something entirely different tomorrow.

Before you build more, find out what you already have.

Robotic parking offers a different way to look at the existing footprint. It starts with the parking asset itself and asks how it could work harder, not with the technology.

What if the capacity you need is already there?

Traditional parking layouts need space for people to drive, manoeuvre, open doors and reach their cars. When vehicles are moved autonomously inside a controlled parking area, that geometry can be reconsidered.

More potential capacity

Make better use of suitable existing parking land.

Better passenger experience

Drop off. Lock the car. Keep the keys. Walk away.

Greater flexibility

Explore capacity options before assuming permanent construction is the only answer.

See what this looks like live

Your car moves. Nobody drives it.

Two Stanley Robotics STAN robots carrying a passenger car across a parking site
  • A driver arrives at the Stanley Robotics drop-off cabin at Gatwick

    Drop off.

  • The car enters the robotic parking cabin

    Lock it.

  • The passenger keeps the keys and closes the car at the Stanley Robotics cabin

    Keep your keys.

  • The passenger leaves the cabin terminal with the keys in hand

    Walk away.

The passenger does not need to search for a space or hand over the keys. STAN moves the vehicle into the restricted parking area without anyone driving it.

Your airport is the business case.

Seeing Gatwick answers one question: can robotic airport parking work? The next question is what it could do at your airport.

Every airport is different. Stanley Robotics can model a candidate site using the airport's own operating inputs before a deployment decision is made.

  • Your land.
  • Your flows.
  • Your demand.
  • Your economics.
